Week 43

11 April 2022

Heyoo

We’ve been walking around so much these past 2 weeks but it’s definitley been paying off. On Saturday, we tried finding an inactive member in our ward, and when we knocked on a door it was the house of her neighbor. This kids name is Jesus. He tells us that she doesn’t live in that house anymore but we began chatting with him and his two siblings. They asked sooo many questions. Questions like what the US is like, how many hours is church, and how much does it cost to enter hahaha. All good questions. Hopefully we’ll be able to meet up with them again.

We visited the family of Hermana Rosa her two sons Gerson and Jorge (our 2 boys we’ve been teaching) this week. They’ve been attending church ever since we’ve found them (9 times) and it’s soo cool seeing them their on Sundays, on Fridays playing soccer with us and the other kids at the church, today playing soccer with us on our pday, and occasionally sending us screenshots of scripture verses that they have questions about. Unfortunately they still don’t have permission to get baptized, but the 2 visits we did this week we were accompanied by Hna Flor and Hno Rejón. The greatest couple ever. They bring such a powerful and happy spirit every time we teach with them.

Hno Rejóns story is very similar to how the dad feels right now so he was able to share his experiences with him. The Spirit was very strong that night. I have faith that one day Gerson and Jorge will be baptized.

This week we also visited 2 of our happy little friends, Lucero and Escarlet. Two little girls (11) and (10). Two different families, not related, but both two young girls with a desire to get baptized. Lucero is super smart, a little shy, but always tries her best to answer questions. Escarlet. Super outgoing, talkative, and a great artist. I’ll have to send some of her artwork next week.
