Week 14

13 Sep 2021

This week was the Baptism of our friend, Micael. IT. WAS. AMAZING
Like I mentioned last week. He lives 2 hours away from us. He’s 18 and is a really hard-working kid! He hasn’t seen his family in years, BUT they came to his Baptism! It was a special moment for my companion and I, but most importantly for, Micael. After years, he got to see his family.
A family that is distant, can be strengthened and brought together through the Gospel and love of Jesus Christ! After the Baptism, we hung out and ate some delicious food thanks to Hermana Remedios and Rocio! And some yummy cake. I’ve never tried a blueberry flavored cake, but it was SOOO good! Overall great day.
We also had exchanges this week. I got to go to another area called Ocotlan. I was with Elder Fuentes, and we had some pretty good lessons and overall good time.
We ate with Hermana Rocio this week too. She has 3 little daughters, and they’re the cutest. Her middle child turned 8, 2 weeks ago and was baptized.

We were out of town because of a conference we were attending, and couldn’t attend the baptism. So when we went to their house, I brought her a little baggy of some goodies from the good ol United States of America and some stickers. We got to play with them for a bit while we waited for the food.
Also something a little funny, we were sending a good morning text to a friend we were going to try and start teaching. We wanted to say ´´Buenos días, Hermano´´, BUT we said, ´´Buenos días, Hermoso´´. He has yet to reply to any of our texts😯. Advice to other missionaries, don´t call guys hermoso. On purpose or on accident😤😌
Well, that’s all for the week!
Adiós, Hermosos!
