Week 19

25 Oct 2021

Herroo.
Hope you all had a great week!
On Wednesday, we went to the city of Oaxaca so my companion could get his covid vaccine. We woke up at 5:30 to get in line by 7, and waited until the line moved at 9. At 4 he finally finished. It would’ve felt like forever, but we had a bunch of missionaries there that I knew so we got to talk for hours.

We also had our first FHE activity with our branch (our small congregation at church). For our activity we shared 2 small messages about prayer and faith, and then played jeopardy. Jeopardy with Hispanics is 100x more fun. They were all jumping up and yelling at the other teams (in a loving way ofc😄), and calling the other team cheaters no matter what 🤣.

Highlights of the week:

-Baptismal dates for Solé and Jesus.

-After 3 months here, we finally have warm water to shower with.

PICS:

-waiting in line

-helping a member move his restaurant
